This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), El Paso Intelligence Division, El Paso, Texas.

As a Property Management Specialist your typical work assignments may include:
Performs recurring assignments, operations, and procedure involving property and/or equipment management, coordination, and control for a local inventory management programs.
Assists with preparation of forms and interpretation of regulations in the process of the acquisition of disposal of excess property.
Applies standard methods and techniques to resolve a variety of conventional problems, questions, or situations pertaining to property and equipment management.
Arranges for disposal of surplus or excess property in accordance with specific agency or federal directives and directives procedures.
Maintains existing database.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-07: Must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at the GS-06 Federal grade level performing the following duties: providing assistance in ensuring property and equipment is acquired, and maintaining an existing database.
GS-09: Must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 Federal grade level performing the following duties: providing assistance in ensuring property and equipment is acquired, used, and disposed of in accordance with Federal laws, regulations, and policies and applying commonly used supply methods to maintain an asset management system.
OR a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years graduate level education leading to such a degree for a LL.B or J.D., if related;
OR have a combination of both, experience and education.
