This position is located in a district office within a regional office (RO), district office, or area office within one of the six ROs of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). The purpose of the OFCCP is to enforce, for the benefit of job seekers and wage earners, the contractual promise of affirmative action and equal employment opportunity required of those who do business with the Federal Government.
This position is outside the bargaining unit.

Salary will be set in accordance with duty location:
Detroit, MI: $134,751 - $175,178
Milwaukee, WI: $127,774 - $166,108

Qualifications
Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.

GS-14: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-13, in the Federal Service or private sector. Desired experience: investigating, team leading, interviewing, analyzing data, and evaluating compliance with regulations. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include:
Applying federal, state, or local government employment regulations to analyze equal opportunity and/or investigate compliance for programs that prohibit discrimination and to ensure the safety of workers.
Conducting fact-based investigations (i.e. compiling and analyzing data, reviewing files and personnel policies, and conducting interviews) in order to make recommendations for resolution.
Experience participating in negotiations and conciliation of other matters relating to the resolution of non-compliance with program requirements.
Experience with supervising the work of employees to achieve organizational goals related to investigating employer compliance with federal, state, or local laws.
Education
There is no education requirement or education substitution for experience at the GS-14 level for this position.
