Duties
You will receive work orders, work plans, engineering drawings, and other similar information for each project or maintenance/repair requirement.
You will attend and actively participate in staff level resource and planning meetings, present brief on the status of ongoing facility projects.
You will conduct maintenance studies of existing facilities to determine new equipment requirements, overhaul, repair or replacement options, and the advisability of contracting service is using in-house assets.
You will make purchases by use of a Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC), and reconciles all charges.
You will assist the Inventory Management Specialist by maintaining material control and screening requests for proper identification and accounting and by investigating availability of material, sources of supply or manufacture.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require to travel on military or civilian aircraft and waterborne craft, deploy onboard ships, or serve at remote sites as required.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
Qualifications
GS-10: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating, designing, conducting field investigations and inspections, cost estimating, reporting, scheduling, and planning construction projects and maintenance operations.
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting in the coordinating, designing, conducting field investigations and inspections, cost estimating, reporting, scheduling, and planning construction projects and maintenance operations.
