You will serve as a Motor Vehicle Dispatcher in the Range and Training Area Management Division of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Duties
You will ensure vehicles are transported to the maintenance contractors.
You will prepare and submit requisitions for vehicle auxiliary equipment and coordinate installation with the supporting maintenance activity.
You will schedule training sites for use of assets to include tractors and equipment in training areas.
You will dispatch a wide variety of vehicles for specific work assignment in scheduled training areas and training systems.
You will assign qualified operators to the vehicles as necessary, making sure that the operator possesses the required license.
You will receive breakdown calls, flat tires and maintenance discrepancy reports and take necessary actions to resolve problems.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04 ) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must include some or all of the following: 1) Preparing and maintaining dispatch logs to properly assign vehicles; 2) Checking records for accuracy and adequacy of data and making necessary changes; 3) Reviewing requests for vehicles to ensure that all regulatory requirements are satisfied; and 4) Coordinating vehicle maintenance and repair.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
- 4 years of education above high school
OR
- A combination of education and experience which when combined together equal 100%.
