About the Position: Sierra Army Depot is located in Herlong CA, a rural town in Northern California. Employees work a 4/10 work week, Mon-Thurs, 0630-1700 hrs. Youth Facilities and daily childcare available. The depot serves as an Army Expeditionary Logistical Support Center, (Mass transportation is available at minimal cost.)

Duties

The incumbent executes production scheduler responsibilities under the Logisitics Modernization Program (LMP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Schedules and reschedules production orders. Identifies problem materials that may impede schedule completion. Verifies funding, asset location, parts and capacity availability.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Temporary Duty Travel, TDY may be required up to 5% of the time.
• This position requires a valid, State-issued motor vehicle driver's license.
• THIS IS A TERM POSITION NOT TO EXCEED 2 YEARS. THIS APPOINTMENT MAY BE EXTENDED IN INCREMENTS OF 2 YEARS TO A MAXIMUM OF 8 YEARS. EXTENSIONS ARE NOT GUARANTEED AND ARE CONTINGENT UPON BUDGET AND WORKLOAD.
• Term employment is subject to a one year trial period.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315

Updates production schedules feeding master scheduling.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
