This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DIB & MRTFB to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Employees work a 4/10 work week, Mon-Thurs, 0630-1700 hrs. Youth Facilities and daily child care available. The depot serves as an Army Expeditionary Logistical Support Center, (Mass transportation is available at minimal cost.)

Duties

Maintain production order operations and component lists to ensure correct work steps and parts procurement. Release production orders on schedule to allow production to start in accordance with approved procedures and schedules. Conduct and participate in depot production meetings in order to monitor production activity. Interpret and manage parallel and sequential processes through multiple work centers for multiple orders simultaneously. Extract project planned to actual cost and schedule performance data using Logistics Modernization Program or Enterprise Resources Program systems.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Temporary Duty Travel, TDY may be required up to 5% of the time.

Updates production schedules feeding Master scheduling. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08).
