You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST (OA) in the TRAINING SUPPORT DEPARTMENT of NAVDIVESALVTRCEN.
Duties
You will be responsible for providing technical work in the areas of supply procurement, finance, Government Commercial Purchase Card, and other related supply and financial management work.
You will be responsible for the proper execution of procurement, distribution, and disposal of HAZMAT materials, DRMO Turn-In requests, shipping, fuel, travel, supply warehousing and miscellaneous reimbursements.
You will act as the Approving Official (AO) overseeing the day-to-day management of purchases made using the e Government Commercial Purchase Card Program (GCPC) to ensure purchases made are in accordance with regulations.
You will maintain the supply warehouse.
You will oversee the vehicle fleet maintenance program ensuring that the records of mileage, fuel, repairs, and other expenses for equipment and vehicles are maintained.
You will monitor and track obligations, expenditures funds, contracts, funding documents, supplies, and other costs.
You will set priorities and schedules, develop performance standards, interview candidates, hear and resolve employee complaints, and identify and arrange for employee developmental and training requirements.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of federal supply procedures, practices, and regulations to procure, receive, store, distribute and dispose of supplies and equipment; 2) Planning an activity's supply budget and contracting procurements in accordance with DoD funding and financial regulations; 3) Maintaining a government purchase card program;
and 4) Providing guidance and technical support to junior personnel to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of supply activities.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

LL.M., if related
