About the Position: Responsible for the overall productivity, economy, and efficiency of the assigned areas to ensure an updated understanding and mission are met.

Duties

Supervise workers directly or through subordinate leader in accomplishing trades and labor operations. Ensure all materials, which are needed for the accomplishment of specific job orders, preventative maintenance are provided to the workers. Plan the use of workers, equipment, facilities, materials, and tools on a weekly, day-­to-day or project basis. Inspect completed work for quality and meeting work order requirements.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent to posses a valid Driver's license.
  • The position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Class A Commercial Drivers license within 6 months of employment.
  • This position requires the incumbent to pass pre-employment and annual drug test. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing in accordance with DA guidelines.
  • This position requires the incumbent to pass pre-employment and annual medical examination.
  • Incumbent may be required to work nights, holidays and weekends.
  • This position will require the incumbent to enroll in the Army Respiratory Program and Lead Abatement Program which will require annual medical screening.
  • The incumbent will wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); such as eye/face protection (chemical safety goggles), skin protection (wear chemical protective clothing), and Respiratory Protection (wear of Respirators).
  • Incumbent must remove facial hair in order to facilitate a proper seal proper seal for tight-fitting respirators.

Subject to injuries such as cuts, bruises, burns, and electrical shock; also may be exposed to excessive noise from equipment, power tools, etc. Protective clothing and safety equipment must be worn when exposed to hazardous working conditions.
