Duties

Plans use of subordinate workers equipment, facilities, and materials on a week-to-week or month-to-month basis. Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences, and plan work assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and policies set by higher levels of supervision. Participates with superiors in the initial planning of current and future work schedules, budget requests, staffing needs, estimates, and recommendations as to scheduling projected work. Explains tasks and mission requirements to subordinates. Plans and establishes overall leave schedule. Determines training needs of subordinates and arranges for its accomplishment.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Supervisory probationary period may be required.
• Physical required; prior to appointment and annually thereafter.
• May be required to participate in Chemical Incident or Mishap Response and Assistance (CIMRA) situations and serve on teams dedicated to controlling CIMRA situations after being trained for the particular duty involved.
• Must obtain and maintain a Tier 3 Clearance.

I also am skilled in checking work in progress and finished work, demonstrating proper work methods.
