Duties
You will act as the HVAC equipment mechanic foreman in the absence of the shop supervisor.
You will review work order requirements reflecting systems, parts, and assembles to be repaired, modified, or installed.
You will lead perform installation, repair, and maintenance of large commercial and industrial ventilation, air conditioning (AC), and cooling systems with complex problems and extensive repairs.
You will lead and perform installation, modification, overhaul, repair, and maintenance on a variety of complex heating boilers and/or heating systems, single and multiple fuel power boilers, and associated auxiliary and pollution control equipment.
You will lead and perform essential electrical work incidental to the maintenance and operation of HVAC/R systems.
You will utilized safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
Qualifications

The Screen-out Element for this position is: the ability to lead in performing common tasks including serving as a work leader over crews of the HVAC crafts, installing, maintaining, repairing, and modifying large/ complex heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems and support equipment including mechanical system controls and distribution lines.
