You will serve as a TRAINING INSTRUCTOR of NMRTC PORTSMOUTH VA.
Duties
You will serve as the Basic Life Support Administrator for Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and its BLS satellite/affiliate sites.
You will prepare course materials for short and repetitive courses including training agendas, outlines, handouts, charts, and reports as necessary.
You will ensure compliance of equipment, supplies, materials and consumable infection control policies.
You will use established automated systems to enter, maintain, and retrieve data to compile reports and monitor projects, courses and individual statuses.
You will complete and submit monthly dedpartment statistics as required.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience serving as an instructor and technical advisor to Basic Life Support programs
Experience preparing course materials for short and repetitive course including training agendas, handouts, charts, and reports as necessary.
Experience organizing existing data and sources to obtain additional information for use during classes.
Experience using automated tracking systems to capture and retain data for reporting.
Experience conducting formal and informal briefings for audiences such as new staff and faculty on Basic Life Support programs.

1 full year of graduate level education

superior academic achievement
