You will serve as an OPERATIONS OFFICER in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of FORCES SURVEILLANCE SUPPORT CTR.

Duties
You will serve as the subject matter technical expert for operations, maintenance, application/utilization of radars in support of narco-terrorism mission.
You will provide operational support to meet mission accomplishment of assigned tasking in Counter Drug (CD) operations.
You will determine long- and short-term goals, objectives, missions, and programs related to the Operations Department.
You will provide analysis, database management, and support by conducting a review of potential and actual drug trafficking through the source and transit zones.
You will address the impact of policy directives and procedural changes.
You will oversee planning and acquisition support.
You will liaise with contractors, customer, operational commanders, scientists and engineers of other organizations and chain of command.
You will develop reports, briefings regarding radar performance and narcotic trafficking.
You will develop work plans, make work assignments, review work and develop performance standards.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience directing the effective day-to-day and long range operational management and synchronization of multiple activities and administrative functions.
Experience providing expert technical advice to resolve issues and to ensure the effective use of Radar systems and operational support to meet mission accomplishment of assigned tasking in a Counter Drug (CD) operation.
Experience applying knowledge of data communications, Global Combat support System (GCSS), Multiple Tracking Radar Control Systems (MTRACS), Communications Security (COMSEC) and a variety of media, networks, communications and peripheral IT equipment.
