This position is located in the Division of Administration of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation located in Arlington, VA and provides contract oversight related to overseeing clearance, deployment and the management of third-party contractors. Qualifications

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional qualifications information can be found here. CG-11: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-9 grade level or above in the Federal service.  Specialized experience is defined as experience monitoring contractor services, analyzing and verifying adherence to contractual agreements. OR EDUCATION: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. OR COMBINATION of graduate level education and specialized experience as described above, that together meet the qualification requirements for this position. CG-12: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-11 grade level or above in the Federal service.  Specialized experience is defined as experience overseeing or monitoring contractor services, evaluating and enforcing adherence to contractual agreements and preparing reports on contractor performance to include identifying violations, deficiencies and performance issues. Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.
