About the position: This position will be assigned to the Beale Lanes, Beale AFB, CA.
Position is flexible, not guaranteed hours and does not receive benefits, but could work between 0-40 hours per week. Must be able to work nights & weekends.
Walking, standing, bending, crawling, kneeling and lifting heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds and over, occasionally lifting and carrying items that weigh over 50 pounds. Reaching above shoulder, pushing objects, and may climb using arms and legs.
Duties
Conducts minor adjustments to bowling lane machinery as needed and executes routine preventive maintenance on automatic pinsetters, including tasks like vacuuming ball cleaning machines and cleaning turn-around pans, ball elevators, and cross conveyors on pinsetters. Conditions bowling lane surfaces, performs floor and wall cleaning, and may apply floor wax. Replaces burned-out fuses and light bulbs, and supports in the replacement of electrical features. Sweeps, dusts, and cleans bowling lanes. Notifies bowling facility management of any unusual maintenance issues. Manages stock levels and maintains accurate records.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty to include nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience in the use of common hand tools. Experience in the basic application of common cleaning agents and lubricants is desirable.Completion of technical or vocational training equivalent to high school level courses with basic understanding of how to use common hand tools and operate single powered equipment may be substituted for experience.

Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
