About the position: This position will be assigned to the Beale Lanes, Beale AFB, CA. This position is flexible, not guaranteed hours and does not receive benefits, but could work between 0-40 hours per week. Walking, standing, bending, crawling, kneeling and lifting heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds and over, occasionally lifting and carrying items that weigh over 50 pounds. Reaching above shoulder, pushing objects, and may climb using arms and legs.

Duties

Makes minor adjustments to bowling lane machinery as necessary and performs periodic preventative maintenance on automatic pinsetter, such as vacuuming ball cleaning machines and cleaning turn-around pans, ball elevators, and cross conveyors on pinsetters. Conditions bowling lane surfaces, cleans floors and walls, and may wax floors. Replaces burned-out fuses and light bulbs, and assists in the replacement of electrical features. Sweeps, dusts, and cleans bowling lanes. Advises bowling facility management of unusual maintenance problems. Maintains stock levels and records. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
