About the Position: This is a permanent position with Army Clinic Moncrief. Moncrief Army Health Clinic is located on Fort Jackson, South Carolina and is part of the 82 square mile military installation located adjacent to the state capital of Columbia.

Duties

Ability to troubleshoot, maintain and install heating ventilation and air conditioning equipment. Ability to repair, maintain and install electrical wiring systems and components. Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (Includes Blueprint Reading). Ability to install, repair and maintain basic plumbing systems.

I perform full range of an Maintenance Mechanic without more than normal supervision performing maintenance and repair of various items installed, such as medical equipment, kitchen equipment, power systems, heating and air maintenance, and electrical wiring systems and components. I use a variety of hand and power shop tools such as hand tools (pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, pencils, etc.), power tools (Drills, Impact drivers, impact wrenches, multi-meters, etc) to accomplish repairs, replacement, or creation of projects.
