Duties
Ensures application of and compliance with current NHCP FMP regulations.
Serves as a member of the Medical Records Review Committee.
Collaborates with Information Management Department (MID) on the regulation of forms, publications, and postings to the Command Intranet and/ or SharePoint.
Develops guidelines, policies, and procedures for the management of records throughout their life cycle (creation/receipt, maintenance and use, and disposition)
Assists the command with Records Management issues.
Provides training, advice/guidance, and assistance to all levels of management and administrative personnel in setting up, maintaining, controlling, and disposing of files.
Ensures file plans are properly approved and maintained for all local records.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Basic Requirements for Management Analyst:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in Federal Service which includes providing data analysis to inform healthcare leadership on quality of care metrics; collecting, analyzing and developing data to furnish reports; and using retrieval systems and other database systems to gather information. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Management, Public Administration, or Healthcare Administration.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
