This position is part of the Associate Administrator for Management and Budget, Department of Energy. A successful candidate in this position will serve as Supervisory Human Resources Specialist, providing technical and administrative direction to the federal staff, and program and project direction to contractor staff, who perform the full range of staffing and placement functions.

As a Supervisory HR Specialist, you will:
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service, i.e., NQ-02 pay band or GS-12 grade level. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: experience performing all four of the items listed below. You are required to include examples of this experience in your resume. If you do not provide examples, your application will be considered incomplete and removed from further consideration.
Experience providing advice and guidance to managers, other human resources professionals, and employees on Title 5 federal civilian staffing and placement regulations, policies, and flexibilities. This will include delegated examining, merit promotion, direct hiring authorities, and noncompetitive hiring options for both competitive service and excepted service.
Experience developing and interpreting HR policies and procedures for implementation into the workforce.
Experience leading a team of human resources professionals.
Experience presenting training to a wide-range of audiences on various human resources topics.
