Duties

Assists in the management of a large franchise restaurant kitchen assisting in all food production operations including purchasing, receiving, preparation, and presentation of all food products according to established recipes and procedures. Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales. Maintains budgeted food and kitchen labor costs and proper inventories Formulates instructions and gives direction necessary to operate a fluid, and efficient food production operation. Ensures proper handling, maintenance and storage of all items. As a second level supervisor reviews the actions of subordinate employees. Conducts management review of patron food production programs to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures evaluating the success of programs in terms of profitability and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required (i.e., ServSafe)
  • Will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Statement to safeguard all Franchisor proprietary information. Will be required to complete Franchise training as required in Operating Manuals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Requirements: Work experience managing or directing the activities of full service franchise style restaurant (ie. Steakhouse, etc). Minimum two years experience as a Kitchen Manager or Back of the House Key employee of a full service franchise restaurant concept is preferred.
