About the Position: About the Position: This position is with the United States Army Cadet Command 4th Brigade, Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond VA.
Duties
Serves as the key point of contact to the Professor of Military Science (PMS) regarding the administration of the Cadet Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program.
Assist applicants/selectees in preparation of enrollment and contract documents for the program.
Monitor pay reports for proper payments to the universities/schools.
Provide staff assistance in all areas of supply and logistics management.
Assist organization by coordinating with the university to schedule and coordinate various facilities for events.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Business travel required 30% of the time and may require 6-12 weeks Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) in Support of Cadet Command Summer Training.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- Employee required to attend Cadet Command Civilian Personnel Onboarding (C3P0) training 3rd week from start date at Ft. Knox, KY.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Operate automated software programs to prepare charts and/or reports for management; 2) Provide supply and/or logistics support for the organization to ensure policies are met; AND 3) Support applicants with academic processes to minimize discrepancies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06 or above).
