This position is located at the United States Mint in West Point, NY in the Internal Controls Division. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will work closely with Production, Shipping/Receiving and Quality personnel in maintaining data in the agency approved Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP).

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume. For the GS-09, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: -Utilization of an asset tracking system and enterprise resource planning software; AND -Performing physical inventories for an organization; AND -Documentary control of the receipt and or issuance of stock property items in accordance with established policies, regulations, and procedures. OR A masters or equivalent graduate degree. OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a masters degree. OR LL.B. or J.D., if related. OR A combination of the education and experience. For example: the completion of 50% requirements for J.D. and 6 months of specialized experience.
