About the position: This position will be assigned to the Resource Management office at Charleston AFB, Charleston South Carolina.
Physical Effort: Position requires walking, standing, bending, lifting items weighing up to 80 pounds, and carrying up to 45 pounds.
Duties
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as the focal point for all FSS property management matters to ensure property control and disposal processes are in accordance with Air Force guidance. Implements higher level directives, conducts inventories, establishes and tests internal controls and formulates procedures and programs to ensure efficient and effective management of APF and NAF property. Ensures Activity Managers comply with guidance in the proper recording, receipt, and disposal of accountable assets by providing training, conducting inspections, and through analysis of data/reports. Manages and monitors APF reports of survey and NAF investigations of property
Extracts and analyzes data to identify potential misuse of property. Develops reports and implements process improvement actions to address and resolve audit and Inspector General findings. Presents findings to FSS leadership. Serves as the FSS Vehicle Control Officer (VCO). Provides vehicle management support for FSS vehicle fleet, ensuring vehicles are properly maintained and allocated to support the Squadron in the most efficient manner. Prepares annual budget for new and replacement vehicles, analyzes vehicle utilization and maintains data within the Vehicle Management System (VMS). Provides squadron-wide logistical support. Manages FSRL work requests ensuring timely and satisfactory completion of tasks.
Leads and/or participates on special projects to improve FSR processes. Performs a full range of supervisory functions for the Logistics Section.
Implements accepted provisions of personnel management such as equal employment, merit promotion, career development, performance appraisals, employee counseling, incentive awards and position management. Selects or contributes to the selection of subordinates. Hears employee grievances and deals with union representatives as required. Establishes performance standards, authorizes leave and is responsible for time and attendance. May work on AB and WS.

Qualifying Experience:
Progressively responsible experience in logistics which provided knowledge of the rules, regulations, procedures, and program requirements of the local logistics organization and the organi1.mion serviced. Knowledge of supply inventory and accountability procedures and regulations is required. Experience providing vehicle fleet management support is required. Experience must have been sufficiently demanding to demonstrate the ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve and/or deviations from normal supply management procedures or program requirements.
Experience operating forklift is required. Computer and typing skills are required. Must be able to communicate orally and in writing. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Employee must have a valid South Carolina driver's license and have a good driving record. Position requires walking, standing, bending, lilting items weighing up to 80 pounds, and carrying up to 45 pounds. Satisfactory completion of pre-employment physical is required.

Education
