You will lead and manage the training operation of the Aegis vocational schoolhouse
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS 12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Functions as the Director of Training (DOT) providing leadership and guidance over two distinct offices a) Learning Standards Office (LSO) civilian staff for curriculum development, management and quality assurance b) Aegis Technical and Officer Training branches, which are staffed by civilians, military, and contractors, set course schedules, monitor curriculum content and quality of instruction, manage all Course Curriculum Model Manager (C2M2) responsible Course Data Processing Codes (CDPs), and liaise with Navy Personnel Command for student throughput.
2. Incumbent serves as the command authoritative consultant for all external matters associated with training including new Technical Training Equipment (TTE) requirements, Surface Training Advanced Virtual Environment (STAVE) requirements and implementation, Tactics-Techniques-Procedures (TTP), and doctrine development. Experience screening and justifying curricula training materials, Training Project Plans (TPP) and post-pilot course adjustments to the Navy Training Intermediate Approving Authority. Reviews, evaluates, and approves/disapproves curriculum products, at the C2M2 level.
3. Monitors contractor(s) performance through review of products. Recommend acceptance/rejection of work. Assists in preparing contract proposals to include content for the Statement of Work (SOW). Coordinates with Contracting Officer and assigned Contracting Officer Representatives (COR) to provide feedback on Instructional Systems Design technical requirements, training materials and environment.
4. Experience obtaining funding from appropriate resource sponsor for training equipment, facilities, and/or billets.
