This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for serving as the Assistant Director for Administration (ADM) and senior management advisor, expert and change agent for the transformation and management of DSCA Human Capital (HC), talent management, and performance, improvement, and effectiveness.
Duties
As a ASSISTANT DIRECTOR FOR ADMINISTRATION at the GS-0301-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Leads DSCA talent management, HC endeavors and performance, improvement, and effectiveness programs.
Assesses program policy impacts on the civilian and military work force in terms of readiness, wellness, capabilities, and productivity aligned with mission requirements, organization culture, and fiscal responsibility.
Provides staff leadership and guidance on the full spectrum ADM programs to senior leaders on high priority and controversial policy matters which have significant impact on DSCA mission execution.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-15 grade level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service:
serving as a senior management advisor, expert and change agent for program areas related to human capital, talent management and performance improvement/effectiveness.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
