Duties
DUTIES:
Serves as the point of contact for fleet quality control and inspection, report preparation and analysis, and property management functions associated with accountability of motor vehicle and heavy equipment management support.
Collects, consolidates, and reviews information related to vehicle assignments and use, income, mileage reports, preventative maintenance services, accidents, billing, etc.
Assists the Working Capital Fund (WCF) Manager, performing administrative, budgetary, and program support functions in connection with formulation, justification, presentation, execution, and review of the Regional Working Capital for vehicles (K14).
Maintains motor vehicle records in the Moveable Property System (MPS) and Financial Business Management System (FBMS) databases.
Creates source documents, e.g., Property Vouchers and Reports of Survey, etc., for the office under area of responsibility, and correlates source documents for motor vehicle and heavy equipment from all field offices.
Qualifications

GS-07 Specialized Experience - To qualify at the GS-07, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-06 level in federal service having demonstrated experience but not limited to: Maintains accountability and control over Government Fleet cards, including issuance, receipt, replacement, and disposition of cards; Tracks fuel costs, maintenance, and repairs to forecast expenditures.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education
This position does not allow substituting education for experience.
