This position is located at MWR Mountain View Golf Course on Fort Huachuca, AZ. Duties

Operate large, complex riding lawn mower and/or specially designed riding mowers to mow in areas requiring attention to space and environment. Perform tasks that require significant manual skill, very heavy physical effort, several steps, phases, and detailed procedures (e.g. preparing ground for sod, flowers, and shrubs), following drawings and specifications. Responsible for selecting appropriate equipment to accomplish work, following safety practices, obtaining assistance, and performing routine maintenance and adjustments on equipment. Works under supervision of leader who provides instructions, standard procedures, and policies, and complete assignments in a timely manner. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• A pre-employment occupational physical is required for this position.
• This position requires to frequently lift and carry moderate to heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
• Must be willing and able to work a variable shift to include Days, Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays as needed.
• Appointment subject to favorable suitability determination.

Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated work experience that includes the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the duties of this position. Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc. Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment.
