This position is located at Mountain View Golf Course on Fort Huachuca, AZ. This is a flexible position (0-40 hours) with no eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans. Duties

Must be able to mow grass, lay sod, weed flowerbeds, trim and edge walkways and lawns. Prune shrubs and trees; apply fertilizer, water plants, clean out drainage ditches. Required to clean rugs and drapes, wax and polish floors using heavy industrial-powered equipment. Maintains, adjusts, cleans, lubricates, and changes attachments on vehicle cleaning equipment. Required to adjust, clean, oil and change attachments on machines and vehicles. Wash and replace room fixtures using ladders and scaffolds. Use chemicals and industrial cleaners. Must be able to maintain stock of cleaning materials and implement used and notify supervisor when additional materials are needed. Frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 40 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds. Required to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for lengthy periods of time. Frequently push heavy items on dollies, loaded carts, hand trucks, etc. Performs other duties as assigned.

• A pre-employment occupational physical is required for this position.
• This position requires to frequently lift and carry moderate to heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Must also be able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach, and work in awkward positions.
• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
• Must be willing and able to work a variable shift to include Days, Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays.
• Must have a valid state driver's license to operate vehicle.
• Appointment subject to favorable suitability determination.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 1. Three (3) month of laboring experience required. 2. Must have the ability use, control and clean tools and power equipment used, and ability to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps without constant supervisor of each task assigned.
