You will serve as a Supply Technician, Supply Department (N4), Navy Operational Supply Center of NOSC NEW LONDON.
Duties
You will develop annual budget submissions, mid-year review, data calls and maintain memorandum accounting records and files.
You will coordinate with Headquarters activity for submission of required documentation.
You will verify receipt documentation against procurement actions and properly document shipping discrepancies and initiate corrective actions.
You will coordinate, order, receive, and issue Navy Uniform Allowance items for assigned Reserve personnel.
You will maintain security of assigned work areas by following general rules that apply to the security of supply department spaces.
Requirements
- Incumbent may be required to drive government vehicles.

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Driver's license is required.
- Work requires the employee to successfully complete a two-week Supply and Fiscal Management course within six months of employment. This requirement may be waived by the unit's Commanding Officer.
- Employee must qualify for and maintain all requirements necessary to perform purchasing actions as applicable to current instructions regarding DoD civilian employees.
- Drill weekend work is required.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
GS-06 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience reviewing and maintaining Inter-Service Supports agreements and Memorandums of Understanding
Experience preparing, submitting and executing procurement actions chargeable and non-chargeable for supplies and other equipment using procurement methods
Experience processing Material Obligation Validation (MOV) reports
Experience preparing, submitting and maintaining files on all survey actions
Experience coordinating with higher authorities on receiving and shipping activities to determine disposition instructions
Experience coordinating and ordering uniform allowance items for assigned personnel utilizing supply vendors.
Experience using a commercial credit card to requisition supply items.
