Duties

Plans, develops and implements systematic and efficient support services. Subject matter expert performing budget administration and accounting functions. Produces a range of automated documents utilizing a wide variety of office automation systems and software packages. Monitors and evaluates expenditure status during the execution year by measuring programmed objectives against actual performance. Prepares input for the Chaplain operating budget and other financial reports.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to perform up to 5% of temporary duty (TDY) travel.
  • Must able to type at least 40 WPM based on a 5 minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.

Specialized experience is defined as one year of specialized experience at the GS-06 level in Federal service or equivalent which duties includes 1) Providing a wide variety of administrative support functions to include composing a variety of documents; 2) Utilizing Microsoft (MS) office automation software such as MS Word, Power Point, and Excel; 3) Generating budget formulas using Excel spreadsheet and assisting management with the review of budget information; 4) prepare training orders and travel orders You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: ConscientiousnessCustomer Service (Clerical/Technical)Integrity/HonestySelf-Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
