Serves as a Management Support Specialist to the Office of Environment and Energy, Financial Management Branch, AEE-4, providing a broad range of administrative support to senior and executive level officials supporting high-level agency wide programs and initiatives.

Duties

This position serves as a Management Support Specialist to the Office of Environment and Energy, Financial Management Branch, AEE-4 providing a broad range of administrative and clerical support in the office. Performs a combination of routine and multiple and varying assignments under the general direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team for projects/programs within a defined area of responsibility.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
  • Travel Required: 10% (Domestic Only)

Qualifications

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-F, FG/GS-5/6/7/8/9 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE IS DEFINED AS: Experience conducting research to identify administrative or program problems.AND;Experience coordinating and scheduling meetings and conferences, collecting information, and organizing briefing notes and materials, and tracking deadlines.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history. Education

Education substitution for FV-G: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related or a combination of education and experience may be qualifying for this position. Education at the graduate level in an accredited college or university must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
