Duties

Perform a variety of administrative functions in support of Police Division and Emergency Services Analyze police reports which include Reports of Investigations, LER supplemental reports, Civil(off-post), DUI, AWOL, and traffic accidents, to ensure that the charges received are adequate or match the specific offense. Perform word processing and other office automation support work for which a qualified typist is required. Serve as the point of contact for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Respond to questions from military and civilian law enforcement agencies, military commanders, insurance companies, and law firms. Provide assistance to all customers internal and or external.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.

Proficiency Required:This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: ClericalCustomer Service (Clerical/Technical)Database Administration Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
