Duties
Serves as the Programs Director, Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) for a medium/large garrison with full responsibility and managerial authority to plan and direct FMWR programs on a complex multi-mission Army installation.
Directs and oversees FMWR programs activities. Develops organizational vision, goals, plans, and objectives.
Ensures programs and activities are managed and operated on a sound financial basis, are in compliance with Army policy, and are consistent with baseline standards.
Represents the Garrison Commander for FMWR activities. Serves as the principal advisor and authority on matters impacting the FMWR programs.
Provides technical guidance and administrative oversight through direct and indirect supervision of subordinate supervisors and employees.
Requirements

- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation or higher based on the Position Designation Tool.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7.
Qualifications
One year of specialized experience directly related to the duties described above.
Qualifying experience must have been equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for a Director FMWR.
Experience must reflect multiple FMWR program work.
Highly Preferred:
Possess a minimum of two(2) years experience developing and managing a NAF budget to include demonstrated ability to determine resource needs and allocation of resources of both APF and NAF requirements and analysis of financial data.
