Duties

Review technical specifications for bid solicitations. Review Information Management assets to ensure proper authorization levels are met. Distribute priorities on overall objectives received from the supervisor to other workers. Serve as Lead Contracting Officers Representative in all matters pertaining to assigned contracts. Arrange for installation of equipment. Perform Quality Assurance/quality Control inspections to ensure contractor is in compliance with contract provisions. Assist team members regarding the organizations' data calls and use of application software. Perform direct assistance in the analysis of requirements and procurement planning for information technology acquisitions.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Obtain Contracting Officers Representative certification within 90 days of assignment to the position and maintain proficiency requirements.
  • Obtain and maintain the appropriate baseline certification in accordance with DoD manual 8570.1M. Personnel assigned to this position must obtain the appropriate baseline certification within six months of being assigned.
  • This is an Information Assurance Support position designated at the IT-III Level in accordance with AR 25-2. The incumbent must complete and receive favorable adjudication of a National Agency Check with Credit Check and Written Inquiries (NACIC).
  • Overtime and shift work may be required on short notice to include nights, holidays, and weekends in support of related mission requirements.
  • Work may require travel away from the normal duty station on an infrequent basis up to 10% of the time.
  • Obtain and maintain s Secret security clearance for the duration of employment in this position.

Examples of IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: completing thorough and accurate work independently, even in the most difficult or stressful situations; occasionally reviewing work completed by others. Examples of IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: solving complex or sensitive problems by developing and proposing strategic alternatives; identifying possible conflicts and shared benefits; helping team anticipate problems and identifying and evaluating potential sources of information; providing feedback and coaching to others to help solve problems; engaging appropriate stakeholders when developing solutions in order to understand and incorporate multiple perspectives and needs; evaluating the effectiveness of decisions and adjusting future decisions as appropriate.
