The primary purpose of this position is to provide complete administrative support to the Command Section as required by the Commander, Director of Business Operations, and the Squadron Superintendent. Acts as liaison between the Command Section and the assigned Squadron Flights in support of the Commander and assigned staff.
Duties
Directly leads the effort to assist the Front Office in the management of all administrative support program functions.
Is the relied upon and subject matter expert in the squadron for all mandated administrative support programs.
Works closely with PKP flight as unit liaison to the military and civilian personnel offices.
Manages the overall support and performance of other clerical and administrative work in support of the squadron.
As the Unit Deployment Manager, serves as the primary point of contact between deployment work centers for all deployable assets.

reduce potential compromise; employee must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance..

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NK-02, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-07 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include planning and organizing management programs and functions of an organization to include but not limited to programs such as task management, program, drug demand reduction program, health care program, fitness program, safety program, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accounts, AFPASS, security program, Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), supply program, civilian timecard program, government purchase card program, and Air Expeditionary Forces Reporting Tool (ART) data program, etc.

EDUCATION: Successfully completed 1 year of graduated education that is directly related to the work of the position. 18 semester hours or 27 quarter hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement. NOTE: You must submit a copy of transcripts.

COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. NOTE: You must submit a copy of transcripts.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of extensive rules, procedures, operations, functions, and commitments applied to secretarial and clerical assignments to perform the procedural and administrative work of the office, such as screening calls and visitors, maintaining supervisor's calendar, preparing, reviewing and editing documents, locating and assembling information for various reports, maintaining files/records, and making and preparing travel arrangements.
Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and format to accurately prepare and edit written correspondence and reports, and transcribed material.
Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.
Skill in typing; a qualified typist is required.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
As a general rule, education is not creditable above GS-5 or equivalent for most positions covered by this standard; however, graduate education may be credited in those few instances where the graduate education is directly related to the work of the position.
