This position is located in the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and is responsible for developing and writing informational materials and presentations with the purpose of educating a diverse audience of internal and external customers and the public regarding OMWI functions, programs, and initiatives.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify at the CG-12, applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 11 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience assisting in the development and implementation of communications strategies and outreach plans to support DEIA.
To qualify at the CG-13, applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 12 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience managing communications strategies, plans, and activities as it relates to DEIA programs; and writing and developing DEIA informational material, communications, media, platforms, or publications.
