You will serve as a FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in the AVIATION SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of HELICOPTER MARITIME STRIKE WING PAC.
Duties
You will perform specialized work involving administrative duties in connection with automated financial systems.
You will compile financial data for report/statistical reports.
You will develop local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS).
You will use multiple automated systems such as DTS, STARS-FL, SABRS, CFMS, ERP, or NALCOMIS, and One Touch.
You will examine documents for accuracy, adequacy of documentation, and compliance with regulations.
You will perform work to establish, maintain, correct, and close pay accounts.
You will prepare, reconcile, and verify monthly bank billing statements; ensure signed receipts/invoices are filed in accordance with federal regulations.
You will liaise with vendors on government delivery requirements including purchase estimates, shipping charges, and delivery dates.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: using automated financial systems (e.g. DTS, DFAS, STARS-FL, SABRS, NALCOMIS, SLDCADA, CFMS) to record, track, analyze and reconcile financial transaction data.
