You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) for NAVY TALENT ACQUISITION GROUP NASHVILLE.
Duties
You will enter and maintain data in personnel records.
You will use a database or spreadsheet software to revise personnel data.
You will correct data discrepancies in a human resources information system (e.g., Defense Civilian Personnel Data System [DCPDS] or similar system).
You will explain personnel processes, requirements, or procedures to employees.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Utilizing knowledge of military policies, procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain military personnel service records; 2) Researching information in military records and databases in order to respond to inquiries regarding military human resources issues; 3) Utilizing automated systems to create and maintain military records.
