About the Position: Serves as an Installation Management Command (IMCOM) advisor and expert consultant for the IMCOM Directorate (ID) on the housing management program.
Duties
Plan, direct, and coordinate the IMCOM Directorate programs and guidance for the Housing Services Office (HSO), Residential Communities Initiative (RCI), Privatized Army Lodging (PAL), and Army Family Housing (AFH) housing management programs.
Responsible for the accomplishment of broad management functions with planning, management, administration, and implementation of the technical and administrative operations of the housing management programs.
Coordinate with other staff specialist on matters which impact on the various housing programs and participate in changes or new developments for current and/or new programs.
Maintain current knowledge and keep abreast of developments in both the Federal government and private sector on all aspects that affect the housing management program for making improvements.
Serve as point of contact for officials representing DA, DoD, HQ IMCOM, Army Audit Agency, IG Offices, and other services and agencies that represent or have an interest in the housing management program.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) managing and coordinating housing management programs; 2) performing or directing periodic or scheduled surveys, audits, reviews, studies and inspections; 3) analyzing and assessing data for a variety of reports; and 4) conducting quality assurance evaluations of maintenance activities in family housing. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
