Qualifications
Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for the GS-0301-9. For this position, Candidates must possess at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-7 level in the Federal service, providing administrative support to include budget inquiries, purchase card, timekeeping, travel, and general office support for a museum or an arts-based organization.

1. Analytical and evaluative ability sufficient to provide support for the business needs of the department by compiling and integrating large amounts of varying kinds of data, organizing information, possess great proficiency in using and maintaining databases and various software programs to research and retrieve information to prepare cogent, accurate reports on a variety of topics.
2. Familiarity with general accounting and procurement procedures sufficient to use the financial management system to deal with vendors, complete agency-required paperwork, track requisitions to ensure timely and accurate receipt.
3. Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
4. Knowledge of automated systems sufficient to support the department’s use and implementation of new technologies and collaborate with colleagues within PXD, other areas of the National Gallery and individuals at outside organizations to complete projects; perform tasks such as word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs in performing functions such as preparing reports, researching inquiries, reporting time and attendance, and preparing travel arrangements.
