You will serve as the Action Officer (Administrative/Technical Specialist) for the Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) Department of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV).

Duties

You will manage and coordinate executive level communications, actions, and information for senior level staff and leaders. You will develop methods for automating the tracking of actions and data calls and presenting information using electronic tools. You will coordinate with appropriate parties to gain necessary information and follow up on outstanding actions. You will coordinate with Command level Executive Assistants (EAs) to ensure Command information or updates are communicated down to the Department. You will track actions, identify and report status and determine appropriate actions necessary/required, and skill to follow up and encourage action to ensure department tasks are managed properly and completed timely.

Qualifications

For NT-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 pay band (GS-9/10 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative support to senior level leaders to include coordinating and tracking actions and information for decision-making. For NT-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 pay band (GS-5/6/7/8 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative support to coordinate and track actions for decision-making. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

For NT-04: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
OR
Three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree;
OR
An LL.M. degree in a field directly related to the position being filled.

OR

For NT-03: A Master's or equivalent graduate degree;
OR
Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's or equivalent degree;
OR
An LL.B. or J.D. degree in a field directly related to the position being filled.
