This position is in the Pre-Foreclosure & Acceleration Section 2, Special Asset Management and Review Branch, Pre-Default Division, Servicing and Asset Management Office (SAMO), Business Center - Operations Office, Rural Development (RD), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The incumbent serves as the supervisor over the Pre-Foreclosure & Acceleration Section 2, Special Asset Management and Review Branch.

Duties

Performs the full range of supervisory responsibilities typical of a first line supervisor for a staff of approximately 15 technical and administrative employees. Identifies developmental and/or training needs of subordinates. Maintains a methodology and system to track daily workload volumes and productivity for the Section. Monitors volume of work into section and adjusts to meet service goals and standards.

• Successful completion of one year probationary period, unless previously served.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience and/or education, as defined below. Time in grade: Applicants must meet one year at the next lower grade to be considered for the next higher grade. (e.g.: one year at the GS-12 grade level for consideration for the GS-13 grade level.) GS-13 Grade Level: Applicants must possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level; or its non-Federal equivalent that demonstrates: Specialized experience is defined as experience planning, developing, and implementing loss mitigation and loan servicing options to all seriously delinquent customers; implementing inbound and/or outbound customer service call processes and procedures; conducting pre-acceleration reviews to ensure compliance with all applicable state and Federal laws; formulating objectives and allocating available resources necessary to service loans and grants in Single-Family Housing Direct loan program; perform administrative and/or technical supervision; or similar work.
