This position is a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, GS- 0343-14 working in Baileys Crossroads, Virginia for the R9-Infrastructure Management Division.
Duties
As a Deputy Chief of the Infrastructure Management Division, your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Provides leadership and direction for the Fish and Wildlife Service's (Service) Infrastructure Management Division.
Responsible for managing policy and budget related information for national engineering, transportation, and construction funding; maintaining the Real Property Inventory and leading the Service in developing and implementing policies related to asset management.
Assists the Chief, NWRS Infrastructure Management Division in all aspects of the Service's infrastructure management program.
The incumbent manages a diverse multi-discipline national team, directly and indirectly supervising more than 40 employees, and ensuring leadership, supervision and direction of the program.
Coordinate with all Service programs, internal and external partners, Department of the Interior to ensure the broadest participation in development, management and application of corporate management and decision-making processes.

- Notice of Financial Disclosure Report Requirement: This position is subject to a financial disclosure requirement and you will be required to complete either OGE Form 278e or OGE Form 450 as applicable within 30 days of your appointment
Qualifications
Only experience and education obtained by 06/17/2024 will be considered.
In order to qualify for this position you must possess the Minimum Qualification.
Minimum Qualification [GS-14]
Possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade-level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience may include: Managing multiple special projects - large and small - to meet organizational needs; Addressing human resources/personnel needs based on organizational guidelines; Addressing organizational budget and funding topics and needs; Providing analysis relying on data and policy to articulate strategies, project needs, outcomes and problem solving; Evaluating project implementation, developing, recommending, and implementing corrective action plans relevant to project planning; Communicating and collaborating with various levels of management.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Time In Grade Requirement: Applicants must meet both eligibility and qualification requirements for the position of interest by the closing date of the JOA. Specifically,
i. Area of Consideration.
ii. Time-in-grade (TIG) requirements as specified in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F.
iii. Time after competitive appointment as specified in 5 CFR 330.502.
