As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.Selectee will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist in the Enterprise Control Center Team, AJW-B350.
Duties
Serves as a second-level team manager over four sub-teams, geographically disbursed at several National Airspace System (NAS) enterprise control centers locations throughout the United States.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.
- A one-year supervisor/managerial probationary period may be required.
Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized Experience is: Experience analyzing complex NAS system and service interrupt situations, to identify risks to the NAS, and develop effective mitigation strategies and experience overseeing NAS systems and services to including the execution of the operation and maintenance program outlined in FAA orders 6000.15, 6030.41, and 6040.15.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.
