The primary purpose of this position is to provide intelligence support to local test programs and personnel who are developing acquisitions platforms and systems as part of intelligence support to the overall acquisition life-cycle. Serves as a multi-source analyst engaging in complex technical research, analysis, interpretation and assessment of information from multiple intelligence and disciplines.
Duties
Duty 1: Provides Intelligence Support to DOD/ USAF Acquisition Programs Under Test. Performs complex intelligence analysis with emphasis on support to Air Force and DoD programs/ systems and acquisition activities undergoing development and operational test.
Duty 1: Performs Duties as a Multi-Source Intelligence Analyst. Evaluates multi-source intelligence information to understand US/coalition and adversary strengths, weaknesses and centers of gravity.
Duty 3: Provides Intelligence Support to Test/Technology Protection efforts. Responsible to work with test program personnel in scoping requirements and defining technological aspects of their efforts that require protection from foreign collection; utilizes subject matter expertise (SME) to assist in developing a plan that provides protection support or mitigation as required,
Duty 4: Provides Intelligence Support to Installation Core Service Mission, Provides direct intelligence support and inputs to a wide range of installation mission support programs.

Qualifications
This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Intelligence Series 0132, There are no Individual Occupational Requirements for this series. Use the Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Administrative and Management Positions for this series.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience includes demonstration of knowledge in intelligence cycle and intelligence policy and guidance, and the structure, organization, roles and missions, and inter-relationships of the national Intelligence Community (IC); acquisition policy and guidance and the role intelligence plays throughout a weapons system's life-cycle; Acquisition Intelligence analysis mission and strategy; and the roles and responsibilities of field intelligence offices in support of research laboratories, acquisition program offices, and life-cycle management, nuclear, sustainment, and system testing enterprises; and knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research methods, techniques, and practices and advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods used to identify and analyze complex multi-source intelligence information to produce detailed intelligence capabilities and threat assessments, identify intelligence deficiencies, and advocate for customer requirements.
Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and intelligence policy and guidance, and the structure, organization, roles and missions, and inter-relationships of the national IC, DoD, and USAF.
Knowledge of acquisition policy and guidance and the role intelligence plays throughout a weapons system's life-cycle; Acquisition Intelligence analysis mission and strategy; and the roles and responsibilities of field intelligence offices in support of USAF Acquisition Test Programs to include test operations, execution, and protection is required.
Knowledge of the full range of intelligence research methods, techniques, and practices and advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods used to identify and analyze complex multi-source intelligence information to produce detailed intelligence capabilities and threat assessments, identify intelligence deficiencies, and advocate for customer requirements.
Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing intelligence assessments that directly support customer requirements and leverage division intelligence capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients.
Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally an in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/ or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes.
Ability to quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and competing resource, based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or defend a position effectively.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
