This position is located in the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (OASCR), In this position, you will serve as the Anti-Harassment Coordinator and performs a variety of assignments for the Associate Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (AASCR).
Duties
Conceives, plans, and conducts analyses, evaluations, or investigations of considerable difficulty and complexity in program areas of critical importance to the Department.
Provides oversight and technical assistance and conducts critical projects vital to the civil rights mission of the agency, e.g., in policy, internal regulations, training or compliance requirements.
Responds to all anti-harassment issues within the organization and provide front-line advice and guidance.
Coordinates, plans, develops, and executes special critical and/or sensitive assignments, fulfills policy requirements, accomplishes Anti- Harassment Program oversight, and provides training on policy and compliance.
Provides technical assistance with various projects/reports, which require immediate action and decision-making consistent with policy and regulations.
Acts as the technical advisor/liaison to the Center for Civil Rights Enforcement and Center for Civil Rights Operation for the Anti-Harassment Program.
Requirements

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including specialized experience, as defined below.
At the GS-14: Qualifying experience for GS-14 includes one year of specialized experience comparable to GS-13 which is directly related to the work of this position, and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. For this position, specialized experience is experience providing expert technical advice on anti-harassment issues within an organization; evaluating long range program goals; collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on civil rights issues; and providing oral or written responses to anti-harassment issues.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
