You will serve as a CHIEF LOGISTICIAN in the Integrated Logistics Support Division (E50) of NAVSURFWARFCTR PANAMA CITY DIVISION.
Duties
You will provide integrated logistics support (ILS) task leadership for your assigned program area in a matrixed workforce, monitoring task execution and completion.
You will demonstrate expert knowledge and skill in the application of Integrated Logistics Management principles, concepts and methodologies to a variety of difficult and complex ILS projects for both acquisition and sustainment programs.
You will possess expert knowledge of the full spectrum ILS policies and practices and the ability to apply them to system acquisition and sustainment efforts.
You will engage with Division-level Senior Logisticians to review contractor and government prepared ILS products to ensure compliance with industry and DoD regulations, requirements, and best practices.
You will advise logisticians in preparation for program reviews, integrated baseline reviews, and logistics assessments.
You will advise Division-level Senior Logisticians in the management of ILS integrated master schedules to ensure mission system ILS efforts meet the program development, fielding, and sustainment goals.
You will provide feedback and guidance to meet program milestones.
You will assist in the assessment of logistics support demand and development action plans to assist in the make/buy decision for NSWCPCD logistics support.
You will work closely with TPMs, Division management, and the Logistics Competency Lead to manage customer interfaces and develop inputs for workload planning, budget development for staffing, and personnel developmental needs assessments.
You will lead, coordinate and collaborate with in-house and/or external teams; providing effective written and oral communication.
You will coach and mentor personnel to bring out their full potential and develop future leaders.
You will provide performance feedback on Division-level Senior Logisticians, Integrated Logistics Support Managers, and other logistics support personnel; making recommendations for performance improvements and developmental opportunities.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading integrated logistics support tasks to ensure compliance, advise on program reviews, manage schedules, assess logistics demand, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor personnel for the execution or completion of a warfare or systems program area.
