This position serves as a Supervisory Program Specialist, located in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Justice Management Division (JMD), Facilities and Administrative Services Staff (FASS). The incumbent through subordinate managers directs and leads the operations of the following units: Real Property Management Services; Justice Building Services; Personal Property Services; Publications Services; Logistics Management Services; Environmental and Sustainability Services.

The duties and responsibilities of a Supervisory Program Specialist generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Directs and leads the operations of the following units: Real property Management Services; Justice Building Services; Personal Property Services; Publications Services; Logistics Management Services; Environmental and Sustainability Services; and various Administrative Services. Oversee daily operations and ensures high quality customer support. Provides integrated oversight over assigned activities and oversees the daily operations and ensures high quality customer support.

Requirements

  • You must be a United States Citizen or National.
  • You must successfully pass a security/background investigation and a drug screening.
  • You must meet all applicable time-in-grade requirements by the closing of this announcement.

  • You must be a current permanent Department of Justice employee with competitive status or a CTAP/RPL eligible candidate.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of Supervisory Program Specialist, (GS-0301-15), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade. If you are a current Department of Justice employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Specialized Experience for GS-0301-15 position: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or equivalent band in the Federal service, which includes: 1). Identifying, analyzing, and summarizing program data, 2). Implementing policy, procedures or other program criteria, 3). Leading teams; providing technical and administrative supervision or 4). Serving as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders. You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including Time-in-Grade, by the closing date of this announcement, 06/18/2024.
