This position is located in the Behavioral Health Program of the Pine Ridge IHS Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD. The position is that of a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in Mental Health, substance abuse, and family practice. The purpose of this position is to provide clinical psychiatric nurse practitioner services.

Duties

Planning and implementing the behavioral health programs. Assesses, plans, and provides comprehensive and therapeutic medical care to individual geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric and infant patients and their family in regards to medication management. Participates in quality improvement programs and initiatives, ensuring compliance. Promotes organizational and professional obligations; completion of clinical records/documentation in a timely manner.

You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
