You will serve as a Strategic Planner and Program Integration Analyst in the Policy, Plans and Requirements (PPR) directorate of the White House Military Office (WHMO) of NAVY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.

Duties

You will develop and coordinate requirements, approaches, and processes for operationalizing new and improved methods for conducting crisis decision making. You will develop work program and budget information, providing technical expertise in decision support-related matters, maintains technical expertise for emerging information system technologies. You will be responsible for strategic planning and program integration for WHMO programs under the purview of PPR, leading and consolidating strategic planning to ensure responsibilities and programs align with PPR direction. You will apply intimate knowledge of policies, goals, and objectives to develop solutions and recommendations to senior leadership on adequacy and/or advisability of proposed strategies/options. You will support operations planning for future operations planning, strategy development, decision support, and information services and related missions.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following: 1. Leading the development of decision models, strategies, and future operations policy direction; 2. Leading inter-agency project teams with divergent technical, national security policy, security and acquisition requirements towards accomplishment of coordinated goals and objectives; 3. Utilizing knowledge of systems, operations, process, and information engineering principles to practically integrate strategic planning, operations, decision-support services and processes associated with facilities, infrastructure, platforms and systems; 4. Addressing complex organizational issues using skills of quantitative and qualitative analytical and evaluative methodologies.
