Duties

Serves as the principle advisor to the CMO (Contract Management Office)/Center Commander/Director and Deputy concerning policies and procedures affecting regional operations. Evaluates and resolves operational issues referred by subordinate process managers, supervisors, or senior management. Provides personnel and resource management supervision and fosters Teamwork. Oversees the day-to-day coordination of CMO/Center support in the areas of Public Affairs, Contingency Planning, Internal Review and Audit Compliance, Equal Employment Opportunity, Security, Public Affairs, Military Personnel and other Special Staff. Assures subordinate functional experts provide and facilitate functional coordination across the CMO/Center. Accomplishes the required personnel and resource management actions to ensure the continuous improvement of all activities performed by the MSO staff. Directly supervises employees assigned to the Mission Support Office.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Security Requirements: Special Sensitive requiring incumbent to obtain a Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security access.
  • Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, where reciprocity cannot be applied; unfavorably adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal.
  • Selective Service Requirement: Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
  • Drug Testing Required

Qualifications

To qualify for a Supervisory Management Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-03 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-02 or GS-11 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Creditable specialized experience includes: Overseeing an organization's resource management activities such as budget, manpower and training requirements; Planning, supervising, managing and/or leading a group of employees responsible for providing oversight and direction of a wide variety of staff actions and projects which are designed to facilitate accomplishment of the overall CMO/Center mission.

Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
